Chris Weidman victory brings new era to middleweight division

Chris Weidman (10-0) has done what many have failed to do in the past: defeat Anderson “The Spider” Silva (33-5) and win the UFC Middleweight championship.

While many fans and critics are calling out things like “that’s what you get for being cocky” and “Anderson defeated himself,” that doe not erase any of Silva’s previous victories in his run as champion, nor does it make his legacy any less impressive.
