Amanda Nunes And Germaine De Randamie Fight For The Troops

Two power strikers in the women’s bantamweight division are set to meet at UFC: Fight For the Troops 3, Nov. 6.

“Lioness of the Ring” Amanda Nunes will square off against “The Iron Lady” Germaine de Randamie in what will surely be a great display of striking on the feet.

Both ladies are coming into the fight fresh off of big wins in their first forays inside of the octagon. Nunes defeated striking sensation Sheila “The German Tank” Gaff back in August, two minutes into the first round. De Randamie defeated veteran Julie “Fireball” Kedzie by split-decision.

Both fighters have powerful hands, which means this fight will most likely be in the stand up. De Randamie was able to defeat Kedzie using the clinch and a combination of strikes. This could be trouble for the Lioness if The Iron Lady backs her up against the cage. On the other hand, Nunes has some Brazilian jiu-jitsu experience that could help her keep de Randamie on the mat.

This match is against two up-and-coming fighters in the women’s bantamweight division. Whoever wins here could face the loser of the Alexis Davis vs. Liz Carmouche match, which also takes place on the same.
