A Moose Drool for the champ

Today boxing lost one of its great champions.

Former WBC and NABF Heavyweight champion Ken Norton, 70, passed away.

Norton accumulated a record of 42-7-1 with 33 knockouts. He has fought some of the biggest names in history, including George Foreman, Larry Holmes and Muhammad Ali. He was also known for his unusual stance, known as the “cross-arm defense.”

His biggest moment in his career would have to be his first fight against Ali where he not only defeated the three-time champion after 12 rounds, but also broke his jaw in the process.

So what does this have to do with beer? In honor of Norton’s passing, I am having a couple of Moose Drools in honor of his career and legacy.

Thoughts, prayers, good vibes, positive energy and well wishes go out to Norton and his family. And finally, this Moose Drool is for you champ.
