Fight Theater: USA Men’s Elite boxing team

Today’s Fight Theater features videos of some of the American fighters who competed at a memorial tournament in Europe. Most of the videos are of fights that happened at the USA National Boxing Championships earlier this year.

USA Boxing 114-pound Elite Championship; Malik Jackson vs. Shawn Simpson at Northern Quest Casino in Airway Heights, Wash.

2011 National Junior Olympics Jarico O’Quinn vs. Hector Valdez. O’Quinn is in the blue corner. Note this fight doesn’t show the final decision.

USA Boxing 132-pound Elite Championship semifinal between Genaro Gamez and Maliek Montgomery at Northern Quest Resort & Casino in Airway Heights, Wash. Gamez won via decision.

USA Boxing 141-pound Elite Championship final between Abraham Nova and Efrain Estrada at Northern Quest Hotel & Casino, Airway Heights, Wash. Nova delivers one of the hardest knockouts – if not the hardest – in the entire competition.

USA Boxing 152-pound Elite Final Championship final between Jose Alday Jr. and Chordale Booker York at Northern Quest Resort & Casino in Airway Heights, Wash.

New York Golden Gloves 165-pound semifinal between LeShawn Rodriguez vs Henry Beckford.

USA Boxing 201lb Elite Championship Final between Joshua Temple and Sardius Simmons, Jan. 25, in Airway Heights, Wash. Temple went on to pick up the decision and the gold.

USA Boxing Elite Championship Final between Cam F. Awesome and Elvis Garcia, Jan. 25 in Airway Heights, Wash. Awesome went on to win the gold.
