Will Pacquiao vs. Mayweather happen?

Floyd Mayweather vs. Manny Pacquiao has been teased for the last several years. Both fighters have traded verbal jabs with each other but have never stepped in the ring to face each other.

Some of the obstacles that have prevented this fight from occurring include the fight purse and the animosity of Bob Arum and Mayweather.

But we’ve seen the tides turn in recent months with both guys saying they are willing to face each other. In a Dec. 12, 2014 interview, Mayweather said he would fight Pacquaio on May 12. He added that the fight would have be on Showtime.

Pacquaio went on Twitter and wrote “Let’s not drop the ball on fighting each other #LetsmakeFistory.”

This fight is so close to happening. If both parties can work on an agreement, it could be the biggest pay per view bout of all time.
