Theater: 30 for 30 – Four Days in October

ESPN presents “Four Days in October”

According to the description, the Boston Red Sox overcome “The Curse” and defeat the New York Yankees in the 2004 American League Championship Series. In the process, they also become the first team ever to win a series after trailing three games to none.

ESPN decided to tell the story from the Red Sox point of view. I’ve knew a lot of Red Sox fans – coaches, bosses and students – who were waiting for the day when the Sox would make it to the World Series. I wasn’t a fan but it was great to see this team who after so many years, win the big one.
