EWU football to get line heavy

The Eastern Washington football team signed 21 players to letters of intent.

Earlier today EWU announced the different players who will wear and Eagle’s uniform next year. The majority of the signees are defensive or offensive linemen. In 2014 the Eagles lost to Illinois State in the quarterfinals of the FCS playoffs. The Redbirds had a towering defensive line that dwarfed some of the Eastern players so that might have been in the back of recruiters minds.

A couple of notable signings include Kennan Williams (defensive lineman) who wrapped up his senior year at Cheney High School. The other is Ketner Kupp, brother of current Eagle Cooper Kupp.
