Chris Rock’s Take on Blacks in Baseball

I just watched a seven-minute clip featuring Chris Rock talking about his take on African Americans and baseball. Rock, who is one of my favorite comedians, made several points during his speech that I agree with. I remember the days of when African American players like Kirby Puckett, Ken Griffey Jr., Daryl Strawberry and Barry Bonds were big players.

I, like Rock, am a baseball fan but I think the league needs to make several changes to the presentation and the game to bring in more fans – as well as the ones they’ve lost.
