Koohns, Marchand qualify for state in 2A golf

Two Cheney golfers will be going to the state tournament after a successful outing at the Great Northern League Districts championships at the MeadowWood Golf Course in Liberty Lake, May 15.
Cheyenne Marchand finished third overall with a score of 169. Tyler Koohns, in his first appearance at districts, placed fifth with 170.

The boys’ team finished fourth out of five teams with 62. The girls finished third out of five with 75.

Koohns was selected for the All-GNL boy’s first team for the boys and Marchand was selected for the girls’ first team.
Marchand and Koohns will return to MeadowWood May 27-28 to compete in the state championship tournament.
