Fantasy: Direwolves smash Gargoyles

The Detroit Direwolves overcame the odds to defeat the Empire St. Gargoyles, 129-109.14, which moved them up to first place in the GCA’s Eastern Division – second overall.

Most of the Direwolves offense had good performances, including running back Todd Gurley, who earned 24.77 points, more than his expected total of 20.77.

Tight end Tavis Kelcie (10.47 points compared to 6.60) as did wide receivers Tavon Austin (20.53-10.56), DeAndre Hopkins (13.97-11.42) and newcomer Michael Floyd (13.87-5.71). Cam Newton earned 25.22 points, slightly below his projection but still pretty good.

The Direwolves have another tough test ahead of them when they face the Los Angeles Seraphims (6-1). Newton will once again handle quarterback duties.
